SROVNÁNÍ VYBRANÝCH METOD DIGITÁLNÍ KLASIFIKACE DŘEVINNÉ SKLADBY Z LETECKÝCH SNÍMKŮMartin GabzdylActa Univ. Agric. Silvic. Mendelianae Brun. 2008, 56(5), 279-292 | DOI: 10.11118/actaun200856050279 This article describes a comparison of various programs for the automatic supervised classification used for identification of forest tree species representation from the aerial photographs. These programs were represented by American software Erdas Imagine 8.4, Czech products LuciaG 4.0 and TopoL DMT 6.014. The study displays a minor production forest area with proportion of four most frequently occurring tree species - spruce, larch, oak and ash in the research area of the forest region around Bystřice pod Hostýnem, the Czech Republic. For the reason of lower quality of spectrozonal photographs it was necessary to use some corrections; such as highlighting pen techniques, namely Kernel Processor Low-Frequency and High-Frequency filters, belonging to space operations. Photographs, modified in this way, served for a construction of individual training sets, which were consequently used within individual classification methods of directed classification in each comparative software. Self-classification took place at the level of a particular tree species. Classification accuracy was determined by comparison of results and reference data from the terrain research. |

Nová uplatnění jetelovinotravních směsek ve struktuře pícnin na orné půděJiří Sláma, Alois KodešActa Univ. Agric. Silvic. Mendelianae Brun. 2010, 58(5), 337-344 | DOI: 10.11118/actaun201058050337 The use of clover-grasses in the structure of fodder crops grown on arable soil, especially those with intergeneric hybrids as the main component part, could avert the negative current trend, i.e. further decreasing the area of perennial fodder plants or fodder crops as a whole on arable soil. They have an irreplaceable role in crop sequences and in preserving the cultural character of the countryside, above all due to the fact that they improve soil fertility and microbial life in the soil and that they have an excellent pre-produce value, and, at the same time, they are applied in various farming systems (both conventional and ecological) and in various climatic conditions, and agricultural businesses are well equipped for growing, harvesting and storing them. In the Czech Republic, the area of fodder crops grown on arable soil was decreased from 1,019.9 thousand hectares to mere 396.7 thousand hectares between 1980 and 2009, which is 15.6 % of the total area of arable soil whereas perennial fodder plants only take up 8.5 %. Fodder from clover crops and clover-grass growths on arable soil are one of the main resources of voluminous fodder for dairy cows. Most of this fodder is preserved through a fermentation process (silages, hay storage); a smaller part is fed as fresh fodder, or serves for production of hay. Silages made with perennial fodder plants are the most important source of both proteins and other nutrients for ruminants, especially for high-yielding milch cows. The basis of fodder production systems are the conservative elements of the landscape area (geomorphology) in combination with the progressive elements (weather conditions, plants and human labour) and relict ones, the representative of which is the soil. The fodder production systems in Europe are divided into five main fodder production zones. From this point of view, the areas where short-term clover-grass mixtures are grown on arable soil could be classed with Zone 4, i.e. intensive fodder production and cattle breeding. This characterisation corresponds with the Vysočina Region (the Czech Republic), which is the focus of our work even though extensive breeding can be found in this area on a smaller scale as well. Therefore, our aim was to verify the production and qualitative parameters of the fodder crops and mixtures included in the test in chosen agricultural businesses in the Vysočina Region and to recommend the most suitable variant for the given area. A statistically significant correlative relationship (P < 0.05) was proved between the net energy for lactation contents and the percentage of organic matter digestibility. The evaluation of the production parameters evidently shows the favourable influence of the grass component part or of intergeneric hybrids on the stability of dry matter yield per hectare as well as on the stability of individual nutrients. |

Indukce polyploidie u Phlox paniculata L. v in vitro podmínkáchPavel Matiska, Hana VejsadováActa Univ. Agric. Silvic. Mendelianae Brun. 2010, 58(1), 101-106 | DOI: 10.11118/actaun201058010101 The objective of this work was to find an effective method of polyploidy induction using chemomutagens, colchicine and oryzalin, in diploid cultivar of Phlox paniculata 'Fujiyama' (syn. Mt. Fuji, Fuji). Ploidy level was determined by the flow cytometry method (FCM). Two methods of treating the explants (in vitro regenerated shoots) were tested; chemomutagen infiltration from nutrient media ("the infiltration method") and dipping of the explants in a chemical mutagen solution ("the dip method"). The highest values of tetraploid (5%), mixoploid (1.67%) frequency and polyploidization efficiency (1.25) were found in explants treated with 0.2% colchicine for 24 h in the dip method. Concentrations of 10 µM oryzalin and 0.2% colchicine for 14 d were the most effective for obtaining tetraploids in the infiltration method. The results will be exploited to other P. paniculata cultivars for breeding of this species. |

STRUKTURA PRACOVNÍCH ČINNOSTÍ ZDRAVOTNÍCH SESTER V MANAŽERSKÝCH FUNKCÍCHTomáš KotrbaActa Univ. Agric. Silvic. Mendelianae Brun. 2010, 58(3), 91-98 | DOI: 10.11118/actaun201058030091 Article includes results of work studies that were done by autoscreening method in the regional hospital in the South Moravian Region by 30 head nurses and 26 department nurses. There were gained and analyzed 544 autoscreenings working day shots in total. There was found that department nurses in this hospital in average mostly perform managerial and personal activities. From the scope of structure of managerial activities the highest proportions have the organizational activities of department in the case of department nurses. On the other hand deparment nurses plan and perform personal activities with the smallest frequency. Head nurses perform qualified nursing activities in most cases, even though as managers on the middle level of management this should not be their main activity. Both head nurses and department nurses deal with administrative issues in average more than 100 minutes per day. |
TESTOVÁNÍ VÝZNAMNOSTI PERIODICITY PRŮMYSLOVÉ VÝROBY POMOCÍ R. A. FISHEROVA TESTUJitka Poměnková, Roman MaršálekActa Univ. Agric. Silvic. Mendelianae Brun. 2010, 58(3), 189-196 | DOI: 10.11118/actaun201058030189 The aim of this paper is to evaluate statistical significance of the business cycle periodicity types in the Czech Republic between 1996/Q1-2008/Q4. Cyclical fluctuation representing a growth business cycle is taken as the result of de-trending input values using filtering techniques, namely Hodrick-Prescott filter and Baxter-King filters. Thereafter, identification of periodicity type is viewed from frequency analysis perspective, i.e. using harmonic analysis. Critical values for the 1%, 5% and 10% risk for the test designed by R. A. Fisher are derived and enumerated. Comparing values of periodogram with critical values of the R. A. Fisher test conclusion about statistic significance of periodicity is finished. Growth business cycle is identified on the basis of quarterly values of industrial production in the Czech Republic 1996/Q1-2008/Q4. Obtained results - the lengths of significance periods - are compared with economic studies. |
INFORMAČNÍ A KOMUNIKAČNÍ TECHNOLOGIE V MALOOBCHODĚ V ČESKÉ REPUBLICEAleš Hes, Daniela Šálková, Marta RegnerováActa Univ. Agric. Silvic. Mendelianae Brun. 2010, 58(6), 143-150 | DOI: 10.11118/actaun201058060143 Besides agricultural primary production, the food industry and all other branches of the economy /services/ it is the information and communication technology used in retail that is one of the factors that markedly influence food retail. Therefore it is necessary to analyse the effect of electronic transactions that are used by food retail to attract and acquire other target groups of the consumers purchasing food. Though globally the retail companies (for ex. in Great Britain) invest in this technology heavily in order to increase their competitiveness on the market the food e-business in the Czech Republic has been more or less stagnating, though the recent years have been showing slight increase of interest in this form of shopping. This article identifies both the positive and the negative reasons of this situation. The technological level of computer network and its high accessibility proven by the fact that the vast majority of consumers can use internet for purchasing any kind of goods incl. food can be considered the positive reason. On the other hand the poor offer of food presented on the internet by retailers who - for fear of low demand for other kinds of food - focus mainly on beverages and dry food can be considered one of the negatives. The weakest point here is the timely delivery of goods in unchanged quality. Despite these facts the purchasing of food via internet can still serve well for busy or handicapped customers with limited mobility. |

Celkový obsah uhlíku a kvalita humusových látek u vybraných subtypů kambizemíVeronika Petrášová, Jiří Martinec, Ľubica PospíšilováActa Univ. Agric. Silvic. Mendelianae Brun. 2009, 57(4), 73-82 | DOI: 10.11118/actaun200957040073 Cambisols cover an estimated 45% of agricultural soils in the Czech Republic. We aimed our work at stabile forms of organic carbon and humic substances quality in Cambisols under different types of soil management (grassland and arable soil). Object of our study were the following subtypes of Cambisols: Eutric Cambisol (locality Vatín - arable soil), Eutric Cambisol (locality Vatín - grassland), Haplic Cambisol (locality Náměšť n/Oslavou - arable soil), Leptic Cambisol (locality Ocmanice - grassland), Haplic Cambisol (locality Nové Město na Moravě - arable soil), Haplic Cambisol (locality Přemyslov - Tři Kameny - grassland), Arenic Cambisol (locality Pocoucov - arable soil), Dystric Cambisol (locality Sněžné - arable soil), Dystric Cambisol (locality Velká Skrovnice - arable soil), Dystric Cambisol (locality Vojnův Městec - arable soil). Non-destructive spectroscopic methods such as UV-VIS spectroscopy, synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy (SFS) and 13C NMR spectroscopy for humic substances (HS) quality assessment were used. Total organic carbon (TOC) content was determined by oxidimetric titration. Fractionation of HS was made by short fractionation method. Isolation of pure humic acids (HA) preparation was made according to the standard IHSS method. |
Chování spotřebitele na trhu s médiiMartin Přibyl, Ladislav Stejskal, Ondřej Dufek, Klára OndráškováActa Univ. Agric. Silvic. Mendelianae Brun. 2009, 57(6), 225-234 | DOI: 10.11118/actaun200957060225 The paper deals with a correlation between factors identifying a household representative and frequency of media usage. Particularly it concentrates on the analysis of internet and daily press usage. Internet is a constantly developing communication channel which is increasingly used in the field of marketing communication and contributes to the development of business environment. Due to its characteristics it is an ideal mean for multilingual communication and communication on international markets. The daily press is on the other hand a representative of traditional media. It is perceived by public as a more natural communication channel. The paper seeks an answer to the question which communication channel is more suitable to communicate with a particular target group - press or the internet. The paper tests the correlation between identification factors and frequency of internet and press presence. Testing will be carried out by using a database obtained in a primary research conducted by the Department of Marketing and Trade at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno. Results published in the paper are part of research objective, id. code: 62156 48904 "The Czech Republic in the process of integration and globalization and the evolution of agrarian and service sectors in the new conditions of the European integrated market", thematic area 03 "The evolution of trade relationships regarding changes in a life style and purchasing behaviour and changes of business environment in the process of integration and globalization" that is conducted with a financial support of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. |

VÝSKYT A ROZŠÍŘENÍ Botrytis convoluta VE SBÍRCE KOSATCŮ Iris × barbata A MOŽNOSTI OCHRANYIvana ŠafránkováActa Univ. Agric. Silvic. Mendelianae Brun. 2009, 57(1), 115-120 | DOI: 10.11118/actaun200957010115 In the years 2005-2007 in a collection of Iris × barbata irises in the Botanical Garden and Arboretum of MZLU in Brno a disease spread appearing in symptoms of poor budding and growth of the irises, or rotting and dying off of the rhizomes. As the causal agent we identified the fungus Botrytis convoluta. In the present study we describe the isolated pathogen. The disease appears in a number of species of the genus Iris and has been reported in the USA, Europe, Israel and Japan. Over a period of three years we evaluated the frequency of incidence of the pathogen in 527 iris cultivars and its distribution on five plots. While in the first year the incidence of the pathogen appeared in 4.4-28.7 % plants, in the last year of our investigations the pathogen spread to 17.7-66.6 % plants. In the course of three years seven cultivars out of the 527 planted out died as a result of B. convoluta attack (i.e. 1.33 %). The results were processed statistically. Spacing of the plants and gradient of the plot influenced the spreading of the pathogen. The weather in the winter played an important role, particularly mild and humid winters with temperatures above 0 °C. Even though B. convoluta was and remains to be a factor limiting the overwintering of irises, there are very few data on fungicide control of irises. Even fewer data are available about the control of irises against latently infected rhizomes. At the present time no fungicides protecting irises against this pathogen have been registered in the Czech Republic. |
Chování vybraných stolních tuků při dynamickém zatěžováníŠárka NedomováActa Univ. Agric. Silvic. Mendelianae Brun. 2009, 57(4), 43-54 | DOI: 10.11118/actaun200957040043 The new method of the evaluation of the mechanical behaviour of fats has been designed. This method is based on the evaluation of the fat response to dynamic loading. Dynamic loading has been realized by fall of bar impact. Response function has been represented by the time history of the fat surface displacement. Response of the tested table fats have been evaluated both in the time and frequency domain. Two factors affected rheology of the examined fat products: temperature of the measurement and product origin. The influence of fat content can be described namely in the frequency domain. The results obtained between 14 and 20 °C showed significant differences in the fat rigidity. |
Odezva Eidamu na nedestruktivní rázŠárka NedomováActa Univ. Agric. Silvic. Mendelianae Brun. 2009, 57(4), 55-62 | DOI: 10.11118/actaun200957040055 The behaviour of the Edam cheese during its maturation under dynamic loading has been studied. The block of tested cheese has been loaded by the impact of an aluminium bar. The force between bar and cheese has been recorded. The surface displacements as well as the surface velocities have been obtained at the different points from the point of the bar impact using of the laser vibrometers. Response functions have been evaluated both in the time and frequency domains. It has been found that the degree of the cheese maturity is well characterized by the attenuation of the surface displacement maximum. This maturation is also described by the maximum of the impact force. The spectral analysis of the response functions revealed that there was a dominant frequency, which depends only on the degree of the cheese maturity. The developed method represents a promising procedure for the continuous recording of the cheese ripening. |
