GENERAL INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

Acta Universitatis Agriculturae et Silviculturae Mendelianae Brunensis accepts submissions of full papers and reviews on biological, technical, and socio-economical issues with a connection to agriculture. Papers should be intelligible to a broad scientific audience.

The length of contributions should not exceed 15 pages, including tables, pictures and graphs. The content of manuscripts must be factual, and if the nature of a paper allows it, achieved results are statistically evaluated.

Contributions are published only in English (preferable British English spelling and typographic conventions).

Authenticity, originality, and quality of contributions, as well as the correction of the English text, are the responsibility of the Authors. Contributions not following all stated will not be accepted for publication.

Rewiew process in our journal usually takes about 6 months.

Charges

There are no publication fees (APCs) or submission fees required for publishing in Acta Universitatis Agriculturae et Silviculturae Mendelianae Brunensis.

Any conflict of interest must be declared in the article.

Author(s) Duties

The Authors are expected to be aware of and comply with the best practice in publication ethics. The Author(s) warrants that the article is original, written by the stated Author(s), has not been published before, isn´t currently considered for publication by any other journal, contains no unlawful statements, and does not infringe the rights of others.

Submission and Review Process

We accept new submissions only through our online content management system. You can fill in your registration in the tab Registration in the upper menu.

In Acta Universitatis Agriculturae et Silviculturae Mendelianae Brunensis, we are using single-blind peer review. It means the reviewers know the names of the Authors, but the Authors do not know who reviewed their manuscript unless the reviewer chooses to sign their report. The scientific quality of papers is usually assessed by two independent reviewers.
