RT Journal Article SR Electronic A1 FilĂpek, Josef T1 Durability of paint systems with reduced environmental impact in laboratory and in-service conditions JF Acta Universitatis Agriculturae et Silviculturae Mendelianae Brunensis YR 2014 VO 56 IS 4 SP 47 OP 56 DO 10.11118/actaun200856040047 UL https://acta.mendelu.cz/artkey/acu-200804-0005.php AB The paper presents the results of selected paints durability testing. The paints are applicable for use in agricultural environment, they have been tested for direct contact with drinking water and feedstuff, and they contain reduced amount of environment impacting pollutants and components. Durability testing has been carried out in pure environment of condensation chamber with presence of SO2, and during 10-year experiment in atmospheric conditions. The properties of the paints exposed to different conditions are compared and discussed. According to the results, it is not possible to use the accelerated laboratory experiments for reliable prediction of the properties of the paint systems subjected to atmospheric conditions.
