AB  - Efficient allocation of land between competing uses deserves attention, due both to market failure and government intervention failures. In order to devise efficient agro-environmental programs for the management of landscape amenities, it is important to understand individual's preferences. The purpose of this paper is, on the basis of the identification of the basic requirements of policy decision-making process, to assess the possibilities of integration of demand for landscape amenities protection to the agri-environmental policy.
